About Henrietta Sullivan
Henrietta is a trailblazer for youth mentoring in Greenville County, helping to establish Greenville’s first youth mentoring program, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate, formerly the Big Brothers program at the Phillis Wheatley Community Center in 1974.
About Truman and Brenda Humbert
Mrs. Humbert inspired her students and mentees to believe that they could achieve their wildest dreams with hard work and perseverance. Mr. Humbert is known as the favorite teacher by hundreds of former Greenville County students. Together, Mr. and Mrs. Humbert tutored and mentored countless young people in their home, church, and through programs like Goodwill’s Goodguides and Save Our Sons.
